Check User permission across Site collection SharePoint 2010

SharePoint 2010 has new options to get permisson for a given user or group and also to get their group names via UI.

For example if I have to check a user named ALDO in my site collection to see what permission he has I would simple use "Check Permissions" and site permissions to do that.

Steps -

Navigate to Your SharePoint Site -> Site Settings -> Site Permissions

Next Click on "Check Permissions" and enter the user or group name to check. Click on "Check Now" button.

You would see the results right at the bottom of this popup.
