Change Team site link to open another site collection in Office 365 site

This is a question which needs some clarification and finally now I have the answer. So how to change Team site link to open another site collection in Office 365 site? Well according to microsoft you should not delete the default Team Site collection as it is linked to the "Team Site" link and this link cannot be pointed to open any other site.

 
So what happens if you delete the defalut site? This Team Site link will be grayed out and you wont have any good place to get inot your SharePoint sites.

Soltuions - If you want your users to go to the new site collection that you have created form the Team site link you would need to add a redirect to the team site home page to get redircted to your desired site. Please do not attempt to delet the default SharePoint Team site.
