cannot run Ecmascript Client object model when page is loaded in iframe

Ok so i ran into this issue last week when a html page when displayed in an iframe would error out while trying to get the current sharepoint context via Javascirpt clinet object model.

This was new to me and strange since i saw the same page when uploaded to a document library runs fine with ecmasdcirpt on it. Only if i load it into an Iframe in a Visual sandbox webpart i would start getting errors.

So any solution where Javascirpt client OM on a HTML page would run fine when loaded into an IFrame in a webpart?
