where is my site column referenced in my SharePoint 2010 site?

If you want to delete a site column and are looking for list/libraries where its refrenced, SharePoint 2010 now provides you with a very handy method called "ListsFieldUsedIn()". This method can be used on any SPField object and will return 'SPFieldTemplateUsage' collection. 'SPFieldTemplateUsage' collection further provides you the 'WebID' and the 'listID' where this site column is being used.

You can use this in a console application to quickly get a list of Lists/Libraries where the column is used.
