How to Add or Upload a solution(wsp) file in sharepoint 2010 site

A simple tip of how to add or upload an existing wsp in Sharepoint 2010 site.

To Add an exsiting wsp or solution -

1. Navigate to the SharePoint site
2. Site Action -> Site Settings.
3. On Site Settings Page under Galleries -> Solutions
4. In Solutions Library click on Solutions Tab and click on Upload Solution.
5. Next Browse and add your wsp file.

Activate the wsp -

Once you see the wsp in your Solutions file open the right ECB Menu and click Activate.
